Ian J Cole will perform mid Morning
Ian J Cole is a Composer and Sound Designer who has been working in the music industry since he signed his first independent recording contact in the 1980s.
Over the years Ian has been commissioned to write music for Education, TV and Film. Ian's music has also been performed in France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, The Netherlands, Argentina and the USA which has culminated in him producing 25 solo and collaborative albums, many of them released thorough his own record label Sinners Music Records which is celebrating its 20th year in 2026.

Bang Bang Klang are pleased to be performing at the Synth South West event
The band will be doing a lunchtime slot, playing for about 40 minutes
Bang Bang Klang!
Bang Bang Klang! (BBK) comprise of Ian Brusby, vocals and guitar, and Andy Rigler, vocals
and keys. Founded in 2024 from a shared love of eighties synth music, the duo started
performing in May 2025 after spending much time recreating the atmosphere of classic
tracks from the likes of Gary Numan, Depeche Mode and Ultravox.
Both Ian and Andy come from professional music backgrounds, having first worked together
in the late eighties, before their paths diverged with Ian eventually becoming based in Spain.
Covid saw Ian return to the UK, reconnected with Andy and the project which turned into
BBK commenced.
Prior to forming BBK, both Ian and Andy have performed thousands of gigs, across the UK
and overseas, sharing the stage, and working with, artists such as Jon Entwistle, Gordon
Giltrap, Steve Harley, Marillion and Thin Lizzy.
They are delighted to be sharing their love for the fantastic music of their formative years
and invite you to follow them on their social media sites.

After a lifetime of playing guitar and bass through ludicrous amounts of pedals, while dreaming with synthesiser landscapes.
The reunion of a steady income, eBay and very poor judgement 😜; finally culminated with the acquisition of a whole collection of synthesisers, including the whole lineup of the now vintage: Roland JVs. Which I'm more than happy to share with anybody considering taking "Synthesis" as a live path."

Matt Ward
By day, Matt is an Electronic Music Production Lecturer at dBs Institute University. Alongside his academic role, he works as a product tester for leading Eurorack manufacturers including Stochastic Instruments, WMD, and Tubbutec and founder of Kinesotronic.com - Max For Live Devices.
Matt is also an active DJ, performing regularly at clubs and festivals across the UK, previously dance DJ for GWR radio and the occasional live show, appearing at international modular synthesiser conventions such as Superbooth (Berlin).
Most recently, he produced local Devon based author and #1 audiobook Amazon bestseller Rave New World by Kirk Field, which went on to win an ARIAS Award (UK Audio and Radio Industry Awards). Other recent credits include production and sound design for A Darker Electricity - The Origins of the Spiral Tribe Sound System by Mark Angelo & Let The Music Play: How R&B Fell In Love With 80’s Synths by Steve Vass
